This position is the top engineering role in the company reporting to the VP of Operations. It has responsibility for planning, execution and leadership of all engineering activities for a four plant food manufacturing company. This is a hands-on director role that requires a lot of time in the plants.
Ideal candidates will have the following:
- BS Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years leading engineering projects in food manufacturing
- Greenfield or brownfield project and start-up leadership
- People first leadership style
- Experience leading all capital for a division or region of a large company or in entirety for a smaller company
- Capability of presenting to the board and working on the plant floor solving problems
- Track record of delivering results on large projects and overall ROI on CAPEX
