Description MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
General Summary:JBS is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role is critical to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our high-speed production equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and thrives in a fast-paced environment. QUALIFICATIONS: - Must pass a mechanical knowledge test.

- Physicalrequirements:Climb ladders, lift heavy objects, work with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery.
- Work environment: Must be able to work in areas of extreme heatand cold conditions.
- These are eveningand night shift positions
- High School Diploma or GED required.

3 years of industrial mechanic experience in a food industry environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills a plus.
- No licenses required; training provided.
- Position requires a drug test and background check.
- Ability to learn quickly, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to perform a variety of tasks
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain and repair high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, case formers, labeling equipment, fillers, and conveyors.
- Perform welding tasks (Stainless Steel, MIG, TIG) as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment.
- Perform Labeling and Tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications.
- Support the plant equipment, and maintaining a safe plant meeting all federal, state and local environment requirements.
