Job Summary
Our client is currently seeking a FACILITIES MANAGER in KY.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the site's ammonia refrigeration and PSM program, ensuring compliance with OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, IIAR, and all applicable regulatory and company requirements.
- Manage the operation, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of critical plant utility and facility systems (ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, HVAC, water treatment, fire protection, and building infrastructure).
- Oversee PSM program elements, including mechanical integrity, emergency response readiness, process hazard analyses (PHAs), management of change (MOC), compliance audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in industrial facilities, utilities, refrigeration, or maintenance leadership
- Strong hands-on experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
- Demonstrated working knowledge of PSM and ammonia compliance programs
- Experience with boilers, steam systems, air compressors, HVAC, and plant utility systems
- Experience leading maintenance or facilities technicians
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, mechanical integrity, troubleshooting, and reliability practices
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and code requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Food, beverage, dairy, cold storage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
- RETA certification (e.g., CARO or CIRO)
- Boiler operator license or documented boiler operations experience
