Furnace Manager - Heavy Industrial

Job Summary

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Progressively responsible experience in manufacturing operations,
• Demonstrated technical/mechanical knowledge, you will need to learn how to operate our furnace (EAF).
• Experience in process engineering and continuous improvement programs, such as lean manufacturing and 6S is a plus
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop subordinates, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement; there will be one supervisor and 30 or so union employees
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of achieving production targets, improving operational efficiency, and driving results.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
